SPMU PATCH TEST

A patch test to ensure that you are not allergic to any of the products that we use throughout treatment. During this appointment, we will also discuss the procedure itself, what you want to achieve and pigment colours. Feel free to bring along examples of what you would like to achieve from our appointment to give me a better idea of what you want to accomplish. Patch tests MUST be conducted a minimum if 24 hours prior to your SMPU appointment.

LIP BLUSH

Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing treatment designed to enhance the natural colour, shape, and definition of your lips. Using a gentle tattooing technique, pigment is carefully applied to create a soft, tinted look that can give the appearance of fuller, more youthful lips.

This treatment is perfect for those looking to boost their lip colour, improve symmetry, or simply achieve a polished, effortless look without the need for daily lipstick. The results are natural and customisable, allowing you to choose a subtle tint or a more vibrant shade to suit your style.

The longevity of lip blush varies depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. On average, the results can last between 2 to 3 years. However, touch-ups are typically recommended every 12 to 18 months to maintain the desired colour and shape. Over time, the pigment will gradually fade, leaving behind a softer and more natural hue.

MICROBLADING

Microblading is a brow tattooing technique that mimics natural hair-strokes. A hand held instrument is used to input pigment into the skin, in hair-like strokes to give a naturally thick brow. Microblading is a great treatment to help thicken and define the brows but in a way that is less noticeable unless closely inspected.

Unfortunately, microblading is not suitable for this with oily skin. It is a very superficial tattoo, which means if your skin outputs a lot of oil, the pigment can be pushed out and the tattoo will not last. This brow technique, on average, lasts 12-18 months.

Pigment top-ups are recommended every 6-12 months to maintain colour and outcome. It is not recommended to have any tattooing technique for 4 weeks prior to going abroad. Primary healing will be completed by 2 weeks and final results are expected from 6 weeks. A top-up is advised between week 6 and 8 in order to achieve the best result. If you do not have the patch test prior to you appointment, the treatment will not be going ahead and your booking fee will be retained and cannot be transferred.

OMBRE BROWS

Ombré brows is a brow tattooing technique that recreates a filled in, make-up appearance. A SMPU gun and needle cartridge is used to input pigment into the skin. The needle is used to shade along the brow, and through multiple passes, the pigment is built up. The outcome achieves a darkened and defined arch and tail, that’s fades forward. Microblading is a great treatment to help thicken, darken and define the brows to give a prominent, made-up look.

Ombré brows are suitable for all skin types, as the pigment is placed into a deeper layer in the skin.

This brow technique, on average, lasts 2-3 years. Pigment top-ups are recommended every 12 months to maintain colour and outcome.

COMBO BROWS

Combo brows is a brow tattooing technique that combines both Microblading and Ombré brows. A hand-held instrument is used to recreate individual hair-strokes at the front of the brow. A SMPU gun and needle cartridge is used to input pigment into the skin. The needle is used to shade from the mid brow, along the arch to the tail. The outcome achieves a darkened and defined arch and tail, that’s fades forward into a very natural start to the brow. Combo brows is a great treatment if you want a natural brow but a bold and defined arch.

This brow technique, on average, lasts 1-3 years. Pigment top-ups are recommended every 12 months to maintain colour and outcome. The microblading may fade before the rest of the brows and require a boost before the rest of the brow.

It is not recommended to have any tattooing technique for 4 weeks prior to going abroad. Primary healing will be completed by 2 weeks and final results are expected from 6 weeks. A top-up is advised between week 6 and 8 in order to achieve the best result. We will then tattoo again to enhance the colour, fill in any areas that may have faded more than others as well as make any changes you may want and finalise your new brows and/or lips! ***Please Note*** Any top-ups booked after the recommended period will be charged additional to the advertised price.
